It's Not "All in Your Head"
Anxiety isn't just "worrying too much"—it is a physiological state. It’s your nervous system doing exactly what it evolved to do: protect you from perceived danger. The problem is when that alarm bell gets stuck on.
A Somatic & Compassionate Approach.
We work "bottom-up"—focusing on the body and nervous system first. Talking about fears is helpful, but calming the body is essential. We will build a toolkit of grounding techniques and self-regulation strategies so that you can feel safe in your own skin again.
Finding Your Ground
Together, we will explore:
- The Nervous System: Understanding "Fight, Flight, Freeze, and Fawn" responses without judgement.
- Panic & Overwhelm: Practical tools to ride out waves of panic and regain your centre.
- Social Anxiety: Unpacking the fear of judgement and building authentic confidence in connection.
- Boundaries: Learning that saying "no" is often a key part of reducing anxiety.
- Self-Trust: Rebuilding the belief that you can handle whatever life brings.
